CODE GIRL

30 May to 26 July 2026

This exhibition positions GIRL as structure, as manifesto, and as blueprint. It moves beyond representation, unfolding as a system that shapes how work comes into being, finds its place, and is experienced.

OPEN CALL: SHORT ART FILMS

PICTORIAL FOUNDATION
FILM FESTIVAL

We invite artists and filmmakers to submit short art films that expand the possibilities of moving image practice. Open to experimental film, documentary, performance, animation, video art, and expanded cinema, the festival celebrates works that are visually compelling, conceptually engaged, and artistically bold. Submissions should be between 3 and 30 minutes and may explore personal, social, poetic, political, or experimental approaches to contemporary storytelling through film.

CALL FOR MURAL ARTISTS

WOMEN IN PUBLIC SPACE

We invite women mural artists to submit proposals for a commissioned large-scale interior mural as part of an evolving annual Memorial Day Weekend event at the Pictorial Foundation ArtSpace in 2027. This commission is an opportunity to create work at scale, engage directly with the public during a live painting event, and contribute to an ongoing platform centered on visibility, authorship, and leadership in public space. Each year, the project will transform the ArtSpace into a site of exchange, bringing artists and audiences together through process, conversation, and collective experience.

NEGIN DANESHVAR-MALEVERGNE

Dear Karen, Dear Melanie,

How can I thank you enough for giving me the chance to be part of the first Pictorial Foundation exhibition? Thank you so much for your generous presence, the opportunity you give artists to express themselves about their art and the way you use such tact to make them visible. Only REAL ARTISTS are capable to do so.

I hope to continue this wonderful journey, for a long time with you!

Love you!

See you!

Negin
